La Liga president Javier Tebas has spoken about the rumored transfer of Kylian Mbappé from Pars Saint-Germain to Real Madrid.

“First, for Real Madrid, and I say it as a Madrid fan, it’s a great joy. [Mbappél’s one of the best players in the world. I could no longer say that he’s the best, because I think Jude Bellingham is the best and Vinicius, too. But he is one of the best players in the world,” he said.

Mbappé’s transfer has not been confirmed yet but it is being treated as an open secret in the European sports press.

Tebas has never denied his affinity for the capital club and is known for speaking publicly out about potential transfers.

Despite this, Tebas’s latest salary increase was approved by all clubs except Madrid and Athletic Club Bilbao.
