FORMER NEW YORK GIANTS OFFENSIVE LINEMAN KOREY CUNNINGHAM DIES AT 28

Korey Cunningham, a former offensive lineman for the New York Giants, has reportedly died at the age of 28. The former Giant was found dead at his New Jersey home this morning.

He was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He would then go on to spend time with the New England Patriots before eventually signing with the New York Giants in 2021.

Cunningham played college football at Cincinnati. He officially started six games in his NFL career, playing in a total of 31 games. His time in the NFL was cut short due to persistent foot injuries.

After a surgery on his foot in 2022, Cunningham never played again. At 6-foot-6 and 311-pounds, Cunningham was a mountain of a man.

Cunningham’s cause of death has not been officially reported.

The New York Giants released the following statement on the tragic passing of their former offensive lineman, saying,

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Korey Cunningham. He was a vital part of the spirit and camaraderie of the locker room. Our thoughts are with Korey’s family, friends and teammates.
