EAGLES MOCK DRAFT 2024: SEVEN-ROUND PROJECTIONS FOR PHILADELPHIA’S DRAFT PICKS

The Philadelphia Eagles have eight picks in the coming NFL Draft and will look to make the most of them.

General manager Howie Roseman is known to make a splash on draft day, trading up in the first round in 2021 to nab DeVonta Smith out of Alabama, as well as trading out of the first round in 2022 to secure A.J. Brown from the Titans.

Safe to say, Roseman might shuffle the Eagles’ draft position quite a bit once the names start being called this Thursday night in Detroit.

Still, there’s room for projection, and TSN’s Vinnie Iyer broke down a complete seven-round mock draft examining how things could play out across the league.

Here’s how the Eagles could spend their draft capital according to Iyer:

Round Pick Player Position College
1 22 Quinyon Mitchell CB Toledo
2 50 Calen Bullock S USC
2 53 Adisa Isaac Edge Penn State
4 120 Ray Davis RB Kentucky
5 161 Chau Smith-Wade CB Washington State
5 171 Isaiah WIlliams WR Illinois
5 172 Isaiah Adams OT Illinois
6 210 Bryan Hudson C Louisville

There’s a lot for Eagles fans to like here, with Philadelphia adding talent at need positions in the secondary, more depth at edge, and a few late-round fliers on offensive line, where the Birds have found great success in the past. Jordan Mailata was a seventh-round pick, and newly retired Jason Kelce came off the board in the sixth round.

That said, how the Eagles draft obviously depends on what happens around them.

Iyer has three other cornerbacks coming off the board ahead of Mitchell — Nate Wiggens to the Colts at No. 15, Terion Arnold to the Jaguars at No. 17, and Cooper DeJean to the Rams at No. 19 — and if any of them fall to the Eagles at No. 22, they would all be viable first-round picks for the Birds.

Further, the Eagles might choose to address their secondary depth in another way, possibly pulling off another draft-day trade as they did to bring Brown into the offense two years ago.

The drama of the draft will play out in full starting on Thursday night with the first round in Detroit.
